Some news!

You might be wondering where I have been:) Well, I spent the first 2.5 weeks of 2012 in Africa and have kept busy at home since….getting the news of our SON!!  That’s right, we know who our precious Camp is.  We are praying that we will get to meet him in Ethiopia this summer!  I update our family/adoption blog way more frequently and invite you to join the story over there:
This is the email I sent out to my fabulous clients…..
What a joy and honor it has been to photograph your LIFE over the past almost two years.  I have loved every minute of it!  I don’t know if you have heard, but Stephen & I accepted the referral of our precious little boy, Camp from Ethiopia!  We are praying that we get our court date to go meet him in June!  I am currently praying about getting the opportunity to stay in Ethiopia until we get to bring him home (hopefully in August!).  While there, I would get to serve with Project61 ministry, hopefully hang out with Camp!, and get the opportunity to photograph families coming to meet and/or pick up their adopted kiddos!  It sounds like my dream come true!
So as we’ve been processing this news & praying through it I wanted to let you know I will be going on “maternity leave” of sorts.  Getting ready to wind down some business in order to prepare for our son and then have some momma time when we get home!
I will still be doing sessions from now through May 15th.  So, if you were thinking about booking me for a session, please do so asap!  The next 3 months will be busy busy and I want to be able to fulfill all your photography needs between now and then.  While I’m gone, I have already started talking to photographers here to “fill in” for me.  I promise I’ll leave you in good hands!

So there you have it….the news! We are incredibly thankful and grateful for everyone’s support of Wynne Elder Photography.  The next few months are shaping up to be pretty darn busy!  So…if you are wanting to book a session – please call (432 853 4623) or email ( ASAP to get a consult!  Thanks so much!
